In the opinion of the emeritus professor of the University of Seville, it would be a collaboration between Lucas Valdés and his father, based on a previous work by Valdés Leal. This explains why its composition, with an abundance of characters and large architectures, so much to the taste of Lucas, shows in its execution vibrant and free brushstrokes, typical of Valdés Leal, as are the faces of the Virgin and some secondary characters.
The layer of rusty varnish and dirt has recently been removed
